Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Prevalência dos fatores associados a via de parto entre mulheres com indução de parto com 37 semanas ou mais de gestação(2018) Cordova, Ana Luiza PereiraObjective: Determine the prevalence of the main associated factors to delivery in labor induced pregnant women with 37 weeks or more of gestation. Methods: Transversal study with 288 pregnant women, age of thirteen years old or more, who had induced labor in a public maternity in Grande Florianópolis, state of Santa Catarina, during the period of March and June of 2018. In the study were included 37 weeks or more pregnant women, live fetus, and labor induction with misoprostol, oxytocin, and/or transcervical Foley catheter. The collected data were organized in the Windows Excel program and analyzed through SPSS Software 18.0 version. The differences in the prevalence of type of childbirth regarding the variables of interest were calculated through chi-square test in the pre-established level of reliability of 5% (p<0,05). Results: Pregnant women who have had at least one vaginal labor had a 50% higher rate of vaginal labor, and in pregnant women without prior cesarean delivery, it was observed an at least twice higher rate (2,38) of normal labor (p<0,05). The cesarean section rate increased 2,94 times in GDM patients and the Foley catheter resulted in four times more cesarean delivery prevalence. In addition, syphilis presence as gestation comorbidity increased in 50% the vaginal labor rate. Conclusion: The pregnant’s parity and the GDM or syphilis presence as comorbidities during gestation are factors that significantly influence the route of delivery in labor induced pregnant women.
