Estudo de Caso Acesso aberto Coleta de resíduos sólidos urbanos: um comparativo entre o processo logístico manual e o mecanizado utilizando o BSC(2020) Bento, Tamires RoseleneThis work has as main objective to identify and analyze the efficiency and management gains in the mechanized logistic process of collecting solid urban waste compared to the manual process, through the use of the Balanced Scorecard. The same is intended for the collection process of solid urban waste in the city of Palhoça, in Santa Catarina. According to the methodology, the research is classified as descriptive, being a case study on the logistical process of collecting urban solid waste. It has a quantitative approach using indicators and graphs, and a qualitative approach using a satisfaction survey. The time horizon is transversal, as it refers in the vast majority of indicators to the last semester of the years 2017 and 2019. Data collection was obtained through primary sources, with the direct observation of the author and with the application of a questionnaire, in addition to secondary sources, with bibliographic and documentary research. The processes of manual and mechanized collection of urban solid waste in the city of Palhoça / SC were comparatively analyzed using the Balanced Scorecard methodology, using as criteria: productivity indicators, the amount of complaints registered, the number of accidents with and without leave and the application of a questionnaire to employees of the operation. Through multidimensional analysis, it was possible to identify the method of collecting solid urban waste that provides greater gains in efficiency and management. The results showed that the mechanized collection method obtained a higher final score, being 6.6, representing the best performance when compared to the manual collection method, which obtained a final score of 5.4. With this, considering the analyzed indicators, the method of mechanized collection of solid urban waste provides greater gains for all involved. In this context, it is necessary to take into account that some perspectives contain limitations, and that in addition to the indicators analyzed, others can also be considered when applying the Balanced Scorecard.
