Ergonomics, in the context of Production Engineering, seeks to increase the productivity of companies through the adaptation of the work environment to the worker, making work activities safer and healthier. The gains obtained through Ergonomics are perceived by both the workers and the organizations where they find themselves. This study sought to demonstrate an application of physical ergonomics in a engineering and consulting company, where new furniture and layout were developed. The new furniture and layout were based on the available literature on the subject and the perception of the employees, using the adapted ergonomic methodology to the eSocial items, seeking to improve the productivity of the team and their quality of life.
