Tem como objetivo apresentar métodos diagnósticos, o conhecimento sobre a Leucemia e a importância da atuação do cirurgião dentista das alterações bucais que podem ocorrer antes, durante e depois do tratamento. Diante disso, esse estudo mostrou as manifestações orais mais frequentes nas fases leucêmicas propondo formas de tratamento odontológico como suporte a estes pacientes, mostrando a melhor conduta dos profissionais para melhorarem a qualidade de vida dos indivíduos portadores de Leucemia.Acute Lymphoid Leukemia is one of the most common cancers in pediatric patients, characterized by the initial clinical manifestations and resulting from the antineoplastic treatment itself. It aims to present diagnostic methods, knowledge about Leukemia and the importance of the dentist’s role in oral changes that may occur before, during and after treatment.
