Os pais são os principais responsáveis pela tomada de decisões junto à equipe de saúde e é comum que se encontrem vulneráveis emocionalmente diante do diagnóstico. Objetivo: Identificar na literatura os fatores que interferem no estado nutricional da criança com câncer e a percepção dos pais frente à perspectiva nutricional durante o tratamento. Método: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa. A coleta de dados ocorreu no mês de outubro de 2023, por meio das bases de dados Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS); Medical Literature Analysis and Retrievel System Online (Medline); e Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). A amostra constituiu-se em sete artigos. Resultados: Da análise emergiram dois temas: Fatores que interferem na ingestão alimentar e o estado nutricional da criança com câncer; e Percepção dos pais frente a perspectiva nutricional no enfrentamento da doença. Considerações finais: São muitos os efeitos adversos ao tratamento do câncer que influenciam na alimentação da criança e essa é uma preocupação que aflige os pais que necessitam cada vez mais de informações minuciosas para auxiliá-los na tomada de decisão e autonomia sobre manejo nutricional durante o tratamento oncológico pediátrico.It is believed that understanding parents' perception of coping with childhood cancer is essential to creating strategies that result positively in the child's treatment. Parents are primarily responsible for making decisions with the healthcare team and it is common for them to be emotionally vulnerable when faced with the diagnosis. Objective: To identify in the literature the factors that affect the nutritional status of children with cancer and the parents' perception of the nutritional perspective during treatment. Method: This is an integrative review. Data collection took place in October 2023, through the Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) databases; Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (Medline); and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). The sample consisted of seven articles. Results: Two themes emerged from the analysis: Factors that affect the food intake and nutritional status of children with cancer; and Perception of parents regarding the nutritional perspective in coping with the disease.
