A estrutura adotada para alcançar os objetivos traçados neste estudo foi inicialmente contextualizar o fenômeno do tráfico de pessoas junto à visão da Segurança Humana. Sequencialmente, identificou-se as origens históricas do tráfico de noivas na Ásia a partir da elucidação da demanda por mulheres, sobretudo na China. E, ainda, foram descritas as causas que levaram ao aumento no número de casos de tráfico de noivas no Corredor Econômico China-Paquistão ao longo da última década. Para tanto, a metodologia adotada se caracteriza como exploratória, qualitativa e bibliográfica, apoiando-se, principalmente, em relatórios oficiais no que tange os assuntos supracitados. Por fim, concluiu-se como o discurso da Segurança Humana é substancial ao se tratar de tráfico humano em todas as suas variáveis, como forma de assegurar os indivíduos e desenvolver estratégias para combater este problema internacional.This article analyzes the reasons behind the increase in the number of bride trafficking cases in the China-Pakistan corridor. The structure adopted to achieve the objectives outlined in this study was initially to contextualize the phenomenon of human trafficking within the framework of Human Security. Subsequently, the historical origins of bride trafficking in Asia were identified by elucidating the demand for women, especially in China. Finally, the causes that led to the rise in the number of bride trafficking cases in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor over the last decade were described. Therefore, the adopted methodology is characterized as exploratory, qualitative, and bibliographical, relying primarily on official reports regarding the aforementioned subjects.
