A questão da identidade profissional será investigada, através dos textos produzidos pelos alunos, em três diferentes momentos da aprendizagem nesta escola militar - o ingresso, a promoção a grumete e a formatura de marinheiro. É através do domínio do jargão marinheiro e da identificação com a ideologia militar que o marinheiro se sente pertencente a esta formação ideológica/discursivaThe dissertation objective is to comprehend the subject position occupied by the students from the Navy School which is responsible by graduating seaman-recruit. The purpose of this research is based on the French Discourse Analysis developed by Pêcheux during sixtieth decade, as well as by Eni Orlandi in Brazil from eightieth decade to nowadays. The professional identity question will be investigated by means of texts produced by the students during about three different moments of seaman-recruit learning in this military school: the ingress, the promotion and finally the graduation.
