The most affected are young people, and may have a negative impact on the quality of life generating psychological disorders. The way they dress, make-up, and the weight they crave are almost always strategies adopted in order to establish themselves as members of a group, to relate and be accepted in society. Objective: The objective of the research was to evaluate university students' satisfaction with image, appearance and body aesthetics. Methodology: The research is classified as descriptive, procedure will be a survey with quantitative approach through questionnaire. Results: We interviewed 174 female students from the courses of Aesthetics and Cosmetics, Physiotherapy, Fashion and Nutrition. As results it can be verified that the body image can have influence in the self-esteem, health and beauty of the female university students.A insatisfação corporal é um distúrbio comum que afeta milhões de pessoas no mundo. Os mais afetados são os jovens, podendo causar um impacto negativo na qualidade de vida gerando transtornos psicológicos. O modo como se vestem, maquiam e o peso que almejam quase sempre são estratégias adotadas, a fim de se estabelecerem como membros de um grupo, se relacionar e ser aceito na sociedade. Objetivo: O objetivo da pesquisa foi avaliar a satisfação de estudantes universitários em relação a imagem, a aparência e a estética corporal. Metodologia: A pesquisa se classifica como descritiva, procedimento será um levantamento com abordagem quantitativa através de questionário. Resultados: Foram entrevistados 174 estudantes femininos dos cursos de Estética e Cosmética, Fisioterapia, Moda e Nutrição.
