The study was required because of the absence of such information in the corporate market. With this goal, there was a case study in a business area of technology that it obtained concrete results in the deployment of the solution. By analyzing the calls made over a period of 2 months could prove significant cost reduction in telephony. The database used to assess approximately 33 million records of connections. With this data base were raised the cost of VoIP calls over the network and performed the simulations of those links leaving the TDM link. The simulations were made possible through direct changes in the data base released by the company. The reduction in cost for DDD calls via VoIP in the period examined is 80%, and the links between company group is 100%. The company had a return of investment in its parent and all subsidiaries in a period of 30 months. (Resumo não tem no Pergamun).Este trabalho procura demonstrar, através da análise de uma implementação real, as vantagens financeiras de uma solução VoIP. O estudo se fez necessário devido à ausência dessas informações no mercado corporativo. Com esse objetivo, realizou-se um estudo de caso em uma empresa da área tecnológica que obteve resultados concretos na implantação da solução. Através da análise das chamadas efetuadas em um período de 2 meses, foi possível comprovar significativa redução de custos em telefonia. A base de dados que foi utilizada para a análise é de aproximadamente 33 milhões de registros de chamadas. Com essa base de dados, foram levantados os custos das ligações através da rede VoIP e realizadas as simulações dessas mesmas ligações, saindo pelo link TDM. As simulações foram possíveis através de retarifações aplicadas na base dados disponibilizada pela empresa. A redução de custo para as ligações DDD via VoIP no período analisado é de 80%, e para as ligações entre as filiais é de 100%.
