The present work refers to the methods used for rehabilitation and restoration of the Bridge, in order to bring it back to work again. These methods are new in Brazil, for example, the transfer of cargo, which is a very complex system due to the state that the bridge is made through the lifting of the central span, but the method, studied and analyzed, is simpler for the reform of the Bridge.Famoso cartão postal da grande Florianópolis, símbolo do Estado de Santa Catarina, patrimônio histórico, arquitetônico e artístico tombado pelo IPHAN, a Ponte Hercílio Luz que é a única no mundo com tais características, construída entre 1922 e 1926, que ao longo dos seus 91 anos passou por várias intervenções e interdições do tráfego, finalmente está sendo reabilitada e restaurada. O presente trabalho apresenta aos métodos utilizados para reabilitação e restauração da Ponte, no intuito de trazê-la a funcionamento novamente.
