It is characterized as an exploratory research with bibliographic and documentary procedure through books, articles, reports, regulations and laws. The approach used was qualitative. The analysis of the data was according to the theoretical basis. It has been shown that the use of renewable energy sources in aviation becomes essential in the present day, both for the innovation that is greater each day and for the awareness of the environment.Este trabalho objetiva analisar as possíveis fontes alternativas de energia que podem ser utilizadas em um terminal aéreo para reduzir o impacto ambiental, analisando quais são as mais adequadas paro o ramo da atividade aérea. Caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa exploratória com procedimento bibliográfico e documental por meio de livros, artigos, reportagens, regulamentos e leis. A abordagem utilizada foi qualitativa. A análise dos dados foi de acordo com a fundamentação teórica.
