Devido a intensificação de plantio em diversas áreas do país, a primeira e a segunda safra, e a criação do Milho RR (Round Up Ready) que torna o controle de plantas voluntárias mais difícil, foi criada a ponte verde propícia para a proliferação da Cigarrinha-do-Milho (Dalbulus maidis) que pode causar perca total de produtividade. Tendo em vista este problema o objetivo do trabalho foi reunir métodos que agregam no controle do inseto e transmissão dos enfezamentos. Chegando à conclusão que o controle depende de aspectos como aplicação de inseticidas em fase inicial, tratamento de sementes, escolha de híbridos tolerantes, e controle cultural. utilizando o método de revisão bibliográfica.Zea Mays Corn Culture has enormous importance in the Brazilian and global trade balance, being a source of derivatives for human and mainly animal consumption.
