Other points examined include the development and the expansion of these platforms. Collecting and analyzing the data made it possible to understand all this process. The level of security during the usage of the service was one of the best-evaluated factors by the users. Lastly, through the conducted research, especially through the information supplied by users of transport applications, the motivations and advantages that led such passengers to use this service in certain periods are highlighted.O presente artigo analisa as características dos aplicativos de transporte como Uber e 99 utilizados no município de Belo Horizonte/MG, bem como as experiências dos usuários dessas plataformas durante as viagens, visando apontar os motivos que levaram ao aumento do uso desses aplicativos. Outros pontos tratados são o desenvolvimento e a expansão dessas plataformas de transporte. Ao coletar os dados e analisá-los, foi possível compreender essa dinâmica. Um dos fatores mais bem avaliados pelos usuários foi o nível segurança durante a utilização desse tipo de serviço.
