It is characterized as an exploratory research, with a bibliographical and documentary procedure, through articles, reports, aviation sites in general regulations an laws. The approach used was qualitative and quantitative. The analysis of the data was done by means of graphs, analyzed according to the theoretical basis. At the end of the research, is is concluded that the ignorance of the individuals, contributes to the illegal practice of pointing laser at the aircrafts, and brings as a solution for the reduction of these data, specially education, with the purpose of changing consciousness the same way.Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo geral compreender quais são os riscos para a aviação do raio laser apontado a uma aeronave e como orientar e conscientizar à população em geral sobre a prática ilegal destas ações. Caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa descritiva, com procedimento bibliográfico e documental, por meio de artigos, reportagens, sites de aviação em geral, regulamentos e leis. A abordagem utilizada foi qualitativa e quantitativa. A análise dos dados foi feita por meio de gráficos, analisados de acordo com a fundamentação teórica.
