Trata-se de uma pesquisa de levantamento com finalidade básica, de escopo exploratório/descritivo, com abordagem quantitativa e método hipotético-dedutivo. Com os formulários almeja-se confirmar estatisticamente a predileção por nutricionistas que se enquadram nos padrões antropométricos, bem como validar a existência de experiências profissionais negativas em virtude da sua imagem. Espera-se, ao comprovar a hipótese da pesquisa, dar maior visibilidade ao tema, além de instigar futuros estudos que venham a desmistificar o estereótipo de que um bom nutricionista deve possuir estrutura corporal em consonância com os padrões socialmente aceitos.The aim of this study is, by confrontation of data obtained through online surveys with scientific publication, validate that the nutritionist is coerced to conform to the current body standard to legitimize their professional identity. This is a research through data collection with a basic purpose of expiatory scope, quantitative approach and a hypothetical- deductive methodology. With the survey, it is intended to statistically confirm the preference for nutritionists that fit the anthropometric standard, as well as validate the existence of negative professional experience due to their body image.
