Deste modo, caracteriza-se a pesquisa através de sua natureza básica, abordagem qualitativa de caráter exploratório, em consonância com procedimento bibliográfico e documental. Para tanto, estão presentes neste artigo a caracterização dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento do Milênio, a definição de desenvolvimento sustentável, pobreza, assim como o caminho percorrido até a definição dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável. Esta conceituação permite uma análise multifocal em torno dos objetivos definidos, com a mensuração dos resultados atingidos pelos países signatários da Declaração do Milênio e permite visualizar as novas metas atreladas a Agenda de Desenvolvimento Pós-2015 das Nações UnidasRelations between Israelis and Palestinians have been unstable since Israel's foundation in 1948. This article aims to make a panorama of the conflict, from 2000 to 2008, showing the main causes that intensified the confrontation between the two nations and how this shocked the international community. The study analyzes beyond the resolutions adopted by the United Nations in the same period, which did not obtain the expected efficacy.
