A teoria e prática dos direitos humanos em geral, assim como a implementação destes, trazem características locais enquanto compartilham objetivos universais que visam garantir o cuidado e possibilitar a autonomia. Implica-se que em adquirindo características locais, a prática dos direitos humanos será influenciada por valores asiáticos – E, tudo que surge como direitos humanos asiáticos, não corresponderá como um conjunto coeso de ideias, mas sim, de características de culturas asiáticas que refletem nas suas políticas, e que os compõe.The main focus of the work is to present and analyze the way in which the historical, social, cultural and political context of China affects and contributes to human rights under the influence of Asian values – and exploring more specifically the case of Taiwan, as an example to be analyzed. The theory and practice of human rights in general, as well as their implementation, bring local characteristics while sharing universal goals that aim to guarantee protection and enable autonomy. It implies that by acquiring local characteristics, the practice of human rights will be influenced by Asian values – and, everything that emerges as Asian human rights, will not necessarily correspond to a cohesive set of ideas, but rather, to characteristics of Asian cultures that reflect on its policies, and what composes them.50ptDireitos humanosValores asiáticosChinaTaiwanMonografia
