The choice of theme came together with the choice of land, which is located on the outskirts of the São Martinho and Vila Esperança neighborhood, with the main impulse being the Ivane Fretta Moreira Highway, currently under construction, linking BR-101 to SC-370 by the São Martinho district. The objective of this work is to propose the creation of a neighborhood between the highway and the neighborhoods São Martinho and Vila Esperança, in order to avoid that the owners of these lands parcels the land unduly, without planning and any urban control. In this way, the work is divided into chapters, where theoretical and project references will be analyzed, together with the analysis of the area to be inserted the neighborhood, in order to acquire necessary knowledge and thus develop the proposal that must be completed in the semester 2018-1Este trabalho tem a finalidade de coletar informações suficientes para projetar um bairro compacto e sustentável para o município de Tubarão. A escolha do tema surgiu juntamente com a escolha do terreno, que localiza-se nos arredores do bairro São Martinho e Vila Esperança, tendo como principal impulso a Rodovia Ivane Fretta Moreira, atualmente em construção, que ligará a BR- 101 a SC-370 pelo bairro São Martinho. O objetivo desse trabalho é propor a criação de um bairro entre a rodovia e os bairros São Martinho e Vila Esperança, de forma a evitar que os proprietários dessas terras parcelam o solo de forma indevida, sem planejamento e qualquer controle urbanístico.
