Nesse cenário, mediante tal desenvolvimento, emergem novas atribuições profissionais, a exemplo da atenção farmacêutica e seus impactos na saúde. Assim, para salientar os efeitos do farmacêutico na promoção desse serviço, por meio do presente projeto, objetiva-se apresentar, fundamentado na importância desse profissional, uma nova realidade de atribuições advindas, especificamente, do consultório farmacêutico, fruto da ampliação de tal atenção. Outrossim, almeja-se delinear as recentes pertinências oriundas do consultório, o qualcorrobora para melhor intervenção do profissional. Com esse intuito, foi efetuada uma análise de literatura a partir das bases de dados da SciELO, Google Acadêmico, PubMed e BVS. No levantamento de dados, incluíram-se obras – em português ou inglês – publicadas, predominantemente, no ínterim de 1990 a 2019. Apesar de estarem em processo inicial, os consultórios farmacêuticos viabilizam a ampliação dos serviços de saúde e alongam a resolução desses serviços para além da categoria médica. Ademais, o consultório, mais que fator contributivo para a promoção da saúde, propicia um ambiente humanizado e resolutivo quanto aos tratamentos farmacoterapêuticos, bem como o acompanhamento clínico – de relevância para a assistência da saúde em sua completude, inclusive no controle de fatores de risco para doenças. O reconhecimento integral do farmacêutico como profissional de saúde é de primordial relevância, uma vez que, por intermédio da atuação farmacêutica aplicada ao consultório farmacêutico, este possui a capacidade legal de proporcionar uma melhoria na qualidade de vida e adesão aos tratamentos farmacológicos dos pacientes em questão.Through a historical succession, the transition of the pharmaceutical art into the current consolidated science can be perceived. In this scenario, through such development, new professional attributions emerge, such as pharmaceutical care and its impacts on health. Thus, to highlight the effects of the pharmacist in the promotion of this service, through this project, aims to present, based on the importance of this professional, a new reality of attributions coming, specifically, from the pharmaceutical office, fruit of the expansion of such attention. Furthermore, it is intended to outline the recent pertinences coming from the office, which corroborates for a better intervention of the professional. With this purpose, an analysis of literature was made from SciELO, Google Scholar, PubMed and BVS databases. The data survey included works - in Portuguese or English - published predominantly between 1990 and 2019. Despite being in the initial process, the pharmaceutical offices enable the expansion of health services and extend the resolution of these services beyond the medical category. Moreover, the office, more than a contributory factor for health promotion, provides a humanized and resolute environment for pharmacotherapeutic treatments, as well as clinical follow-up - relevant for health care in its completeness, including the control of risk factors for diseases.
