For this reason, it was decided to apply the concepts advocated by the change management process of the ITIL library. And in this work we will analyze if the application of the techniques of the ITIL model, with regard to change management, has some positive impact on the process of sustaining this ERP system in this organization.Com um processo de sustentação de um ERP em operação que permitia-se solicitar e implementar mudanças sem muito critério, uma empresa de gestão e terceirização de frotas de Curitiba, PR, Brasil, estava enfrentando alguns problemas de ineficiência e retrabalho com as mudanças implementadas. Por esta razão, decidiu-se aplicar os conceitos defendidos pelo processo de gerenciamento de mudanças da biblioteca ITIL.
