O PediaSuit é um método fisioterapêutico constituído por um macacão terapêutico como vestimenta dinâmica que visa estabelecer o alinhamento corporal através de uma órtese proprioceptiva chamada “Suit”. Objetivos: analisar os efeitos do pediasuit no desenvolvimento motor em crianças com paralisia cerebral. Metodologia: trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica, com artigos publicados entre 2013 a 2022 nos idiomas inglês e português estando estes disponíveis de forma gratuita na íntegra. Resultados: Após a filtragem baseada nos critérios estabelecidos, foram selecionados 6 artigos na íntegra e expostos os principais resultados: melhora na função motora grossa, equilíbrio e tônus muscular. Conclusão: Foi possível observar que o método pediasuit apresenta significativos efeitos para melhora das habilidades motoras, coordenação, força muscular e propriocepção estimulando um melhor desenvolvimento motor para crianças diagnosticadas com paralisia cerebral.Cerebral palsy (CP) is the most common cause of disability affecting the central nervous system. PediaSuit is a physiotherapeutic method consisting of a therapeutic jumpsuit as a dynamic garment that aims to establish body alignment through a proprioceptive orthosis called “Suit”. Objectives: to analyze the effects of the pediasuit on motor development in children with cerebral palsy. Methodology: this is a bibliographic review, with articles published between 2013 and 2022 in English and Portuguese, which are available free of charge in full.
