A fisioterapia desempenha um papel crucial no apoio ao desenvolvimento motor e neuropsicomotor dessas crianças. Método: Esta revisão bibliográfica integrativa destaca a importância da atuação dos fisioterapeutas e sua contribuição para uma vida saudável e plena para as crianças prematuras. Resultados: Esses estudos destacam a importância da intervenção precoce e cuidados multidisciplinares no desenvolvimento motor e neuropsicomotor de crianças prematuras. Os resultados indicaram que uma única sessão de fisioterapia não produziu efeitos imediatos significativos, enfatizando a importância de intervenções contínuas e personalizadas ao longo do tempo. Conclusão: A fisioterapia desempenha um papel fundamental no desenvolvimento motor de crianças prematuras. As intervenções fisioterapêuticas, quando aplicadas de maneira adequada e contínua, podem ajudar essas crianças a superar os desafios decorrentes de sua prematuridade e a atingir marcos motores apropriados para sua idade. A abordagem multidisciplinar e a atenção ao posicionamento adequado também são essenciais para otimizar o desenvolvimento motor e neuropsicomotor dessas crianças.
