The evolution of technology increased the video quality, but, above it all, it has allowed video to be sent to other mobile devices, this way profoundly altering consumption habits in contemporary society. For this study, authors such as Carlos Alberto Tourinho and Felipe Muanis were used due to their knowledge about the television evolution until it reaches the hyper television era, Henry Jenkins and is Culture of Convergence Cristiane Finger with her vast knowledge about ubiquity and multi-screens.Neste estudo pretende-se entender o processo evolutivo de cada tecnologia envolvida e aprofundar questionamentos relacionados a uma eventual morte da televisão, relacionando a convergência entre telas e redes sociais. A evolução tecnológica permitiu o aumento da qualidade do vídeo e, acima de tudo, permitiu o envio de vídeo para dispositivos móveis, alterando profundamente hábitos de consumo na sociedade contemporânea.
