It has been addressed since the emergence of this alternative means of conflicts, until the current legislation. The main features of this process were also explained. Finally, we will analyze the influence of the New Code of Civil Procedure on the arbitration procedure regulated by Law N. 9,307 of 1996.o presente artigo tem por objetivo abordar o instituto da arbitragem, sendo este um meio alternativo de resolução de conflitos que vem crescendo no Brasil. Abordou-se desde o surgimento deste meio alternativo de conflitos, até a atual legislação. Também tratou-se de explanar as principais características deste processo.
