A survey was conducted with several competitors and it obtained essential data about the desire to change the evaluations. It is characterized as exploratory research with bibliographic and documentary procedure through books, reports, regulations and articles. Often, due to the lack of national bibliography related to this subject, foreign articles and books were used. The approach used was quantitative. The analysis of the data took the form of graphs, analyzed according to the theoretical basis. Finally, it was concluded that Brazilian competitors do not feel safe at the trial just with the naked eye. Through research, the interest of the pilots in the use of the technology was evident for the accuracy of the judgments. It is the suggestion of future research on innovations in the technological field for purposes of use in acrobatic championships.Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo geral analisar a visão dos pilotos competidores sobre o atual método de julgamento dos campeonatos de acrobacia aérea, buscando as possíveis causas relacionadas ao descontentamento e o porquê que elas ocorrem. Foi realizada uma pesquisa com diversos competidores e dela obteve-se dados essenciais sobre o desejo de mudança das avaliações. Caracteriza-se como pesquisa exploratória com procedimento bibliográfico e documental por meio de livros, reportagens, regulamentos e artigos. Muitas vezes, devido à falta de bibliografia nacional relacionada a esse assunto, recorreu-se a artigos e livros estrangeiros. A abordagem utilizada foi quantitativa. A análise dos dados deu-se por forma de gráficos, analisados de acordo com a fundamentação teórica. Por fim, concluiu-se que os competidores brasileiros não sentem segurança no julgamento apenas a olho nu. Através de pesquisas, ficou evidente o interesse dos pilotos no uso da tecnologia a para a acuracidade dos julgamentos.
