In order to carry out the research, an interview with the teacher was carried out with five-year-old children, as well as classroom observations, recorded in a field diary and through photographic means, relating to theoretical references in the area. It was possible to observe that in moments of free play the children interacted more, incorporated characters and allied them to the make-believe, unlike the directed games where there was less interaction between the pairs.Este artigo é resultado de um trabalho de conclusão do curso de Pedagogia que analisou a abordagem do lúdico na prática pedagógica de uma professora de um Centro de Educação Infantil localizado na cidade de Curitiba/PR. Para a execução da pesquisa houve a aplicação de uma entrevista com a professora, a qual atua com crianças de cinco anos, bem como observações da turma, registradas em um diário de campo e por meio fotográfico, relacionando com referências teóricas da área.
