Objetivo: Esta pesquisa visa reunir informações científicas que comprovem a eficácia da fisioterapia no auxílio do desenvolvimento motor de crianças diagnosticadas com TEA, especialmente na área da neuropediatria. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão de literatura realizada entre março e maio do ano de 2024, nas seguintes bases de dados, The Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (PubMed) e na Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro). Resultado: Foram encontrados 364 artigos, dos quais 46 foram selecionados por concordância temática e 33 por resumos compatíveis. Após a pré-seleção, 32 foram excluídos por falta de relevância temática e 29 por não atenderem aos critérios de elegibilidade. Após leitura completa, 16 artigos foram descartados por falta de objetivos compatíveis, resultando na inclusão de 9 artigos na revisão. Discussão: Diante dos desfechos encontrados, fica evidente que tratamento fisioterapêutico beneficia crianças autistas, melhorando suas habilidades motoras e promovendo uma interação social e comunicação mais eficazes. Conclusão: A fisioterapia é crucial no tratamento de crianças com autismo, intervindo desde cedo para melhorar seu desenvolvimento físico e social, com o apoio da família e de uma abordagem multidisciplinar.Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurological condition that impairs communication and social interaction, along with exhibiting stereotyped or restricted behaviors.
