A abordagem fisioterapêutica tem como principal objetivo minimizar o impacto da lesão e facilitar o retorno do paciente gradualmente às atividades básicas e laborativas de sua vida diária. Quanto mais rápido iniciar a reabilitação, reduzirá o tempo de recuperação, e assim, previnir complicações como contratura muscular e atrofia levando a perda de função do membro.The aim of this study was to carry out a literature review on Brachial Plexus (BP) injuries in adults, which is located in a particularly critical region of the peripheral nervous system in terms of its exposure to trauma, it is estimated that 10 to 20% of injuries and, of these 80 to 90% are related to car accidents, the diagnosis is made by a neurological clinician and imaging test. The physiotherapeutic approach has the main objective of minimizing the impact of the injury and facilitating the patient’s gradual return to the basic and work activities of their daily life.
