We sought to talk about: Standards and Practices Recommended by ICAO in the Operational Safety Area; The concept of SGSO - Operational Safety System and its Manual and the Brazilian Civil Aviation Safety Program PSO-BR, as well as the Role of Organizations in this context. The main objective was to explain how the airline Gol establishes Safety as its value number 1. To do so, it was necessary to analyze the history of the company, talk about the IOSA Certification of IATA to which Gol is certified; The Assistance Programs and their Importance for Flight Safety; Operational Safety and the Risks of Fatigue as well as to point out the Main Tool used by Gol to measure Safety in its operations. Through the study of articles published by ASAGol - Association of Aeronauts of Gol and finally, the analysis of the company's most recent Sustainability Report (2016), elucidate how the company treats the factor Safety in its operations. Para tanto, se fez necessário analisar a história da empresa, falar sobre a Certificação IOSA da IATA a qual a Gol é certificada; Os Programas de Assistência e a sua Importância para a Segurança do Voo; A Segurança Operacional e os Riscos de Fadiga bem como apontar qual a Principal Ferramenta utilizada pela Gol para medir a Segurança em suas operações.
