The construction of the geopolitics of the Far East region and the insertion of North Korea into this system was debated through bibliographical research. The international press approaches were made through the collection of four newspaper articles referring to the states analyzed in this present work, namely the United States, China, South Korea and Japan, in two moments: the nuclear test of 2013 and the " hands "between the leaders of the United States, Donald Trump, and North Korea, Kim Jong-Um. As result, we note that there is a divergence of opinion among the newspapers presented here, varying between narratives critical of China's performance in relation to North Korea and its nuclearization process, and also about the "theater" set up at the time of shaking hands between a North Korean leader and the American leader.O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar as narrativas da imprensa internacional sobre a inserção internacional da Coreia do Norte e como as potências atuantes no extremo oriente se relacionam com a mesma. A construção da geopolítica da região do Extremo Oriente e a inserção da Coréia do Norte neste sistema foi debatida através de pesquisa bibliográfica. As abordagens da imprensa internacional foram feitas através da coleta de matérias de quatro jornais referente aos Estados analisados neste presente trabalho, a saber Estados Unidos, China, Coréia do Sul e Japão, em dois momentos: o teste nuclear de 2013 e o “aperto de mãos” entre os líderes dos Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, e da Coréia do Norte, Kim Jong-Un. Como resultados notamos que há divergência de opiniões entre os jornais aqui apresentados, variando entre narrativas críticas à atuação da China em relação à Coréia do Norte e ao seu processo de nuclearização e também sobre o “teatro” montado na ocasião do apertar de mãos entre o líder norte-coreano e no líder estadunidense.80pt-BRAttribution 3.0 BrazilCoreia do NorteMonografia
