Para tal, foi realizada uma pesquisa exploratória, com procedimentos de pesquisa bibliográficos e documentais, com análise de dados qualitativa. O tema combustíveis sustentáveis de aviação, tem grande relevância mundial, dada a importância do setor aéreo, e a sua contribuição nas emissões dos gases poluentes. Atualmente existem metas definidas para o setor, e esforços contínuos para a redução destes gases. A utilização dos combustíveis sustentáveis de aviação serão a principal mudança responsável por tornar o setor aéreo mais sustentável e menos dependente dos combustíveis fósseis, além de contribuir com diversos outros benefícios, não só para o meio ambiente, para também para o resto da sociedade.This work aimed to present sustainable aviation fuels that can be used, with the aim of reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and consequently global warming, identifying the benefits that can be obtained with their use. To this end, an exploratory research was carried out, using bibliographic and documentary research procedures, with qualitative data analysis. The topic of sustainable aviation fuels has great global relevance, given the importance of the airline sector and its contribution to polluting gas emissions. Currently there are goals defined for the sector, and continuous efforts to reduce these gases.
