It is characterized as an exploratory research with bibliographic procedure made by books, magazines, manuals, regulations and laws. The approach used was qualitative analyzing current reality. The data analysis was made by manuals and bibliographic research according to the theoretical substantiation. By analyzing the results obtained with the research, it is concluded that the instructor has extreme importance in practical and theoretical training during the student's learning period always seeking for safety in the air instruction and your teaching methods used during the stages of the course.Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo geral identificar a importância do instrutor de voo nas técnicas de pilotagem no curso de instrutor de voo com a finalidade de assegurar a qualidade na instrução aeronáutica. Caracteriza- se como uma pesquisa exploratória com procedimento bibliográfico por meio de livros, revistas, manuais, regulamentos e leis. A abordagem utilizada foi qualitativa analisando a realidade atual. A análise de dados foi feita por meio de manuais e pesquisas bibliográficas de acordo com a fundamentação teórica.
