In view of this, the present article aimed to analyze how the reception of children who suffer or suffered verbal aggression occurs within the school environment. The research was characterized as exploratory and descriptive, its qualitative approach, with a cross-section. As for the research design, the case study method was adopted and a semi-structured interview script was used as it allowed greater freedom of response for the interviewees. Three public school teachers, from the greater Florianópolis, were interviewed, who had experience teaching classes for third / fourth year students of elementary school. The for the results, it is observed that verbal aggressions are the act of hurting someone, through offensive and prejudiced words. According to the interviewees' reports, the environment in which the children are inserted, directly reflects in their actions, in which, it is essential to address the content of verbal aggressions, in order to generate, reflection, learning, respect, understanding to others and their differences. Since schools are capable of producing any type of violence, they are also institutions that promote transformations.Sejam físicas, simbólicas ou psicológicas, as violências se constituem numa dimensão que atravessa a vida de milhares de crianças, deixando uma diversidade de marcas em cada uma delas. Diante disso, o presente artigo teve o intuito de analisar como ocorre o acolhimento a crianças que sofrem ou sofreram agressões verbais dentro do ambiente escolar. A pesquisa se caracterizou como exploratória e descritiva, de abordagem qualitativa e corte transversal. Utilizou-se um roteiro de entrevista semiestruturada como procedimento de coleta de dados, visto que este permite maior liberdade de resposta das entrevistadas. Foram entrevistadas três professoras de escolas públicas da grande Florianópolis que possuíam experiência em dar aula para turmas de terceiro/quarto ano do ensino fundamental. Quanto aos resultados, observou-se que as agressões verbais são ato de ferir alguém através de palavras ofensivas e preconceituosas. Conforme os relatos das entrevistadas, o ambiente em que as crianças estão inseridas refletem diretamente em suas ações, de forma que é fundamental abordar o conteúdo de agressões verbais, a fim de gerar reflexão, aprendizado, respeito e compreensão ao outro nas suas diferenças, visto que as escolas são instituições capazes de (re)produzir, mas também de criar formas de enfrentar as violências.23 f.pt-BRAttribution-NoDerivs 3.0 BrazilCriançasAgressões VerbaisAmbiente EscolarArtigo Científico
