As method of approach the deductive method was used and, in the procedure, the bibliographic method. Regarding the level, this research is classified as exploratory and, as regards the approach, as qualitative. In view of the premises extracted from the preparation of the present study, it was concluded that the Civil Procedure Code in force observes, in part, the premises established by the Statute of the Person with Disability, since it honors to a greater degree than the code proceedings, the dignity of the person of the interdiction. Nonetheless, there were also omissions and conflicts between legal instruments, which lead to a weighted interpretation and, ultimately, legislative changes.O presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar a compatibilidade entre as inovações operadas pelo novo Código de Processo Civil (lei nº 13.105/2015), relativamente às ações de interdição, com o Estatuto da Pessoa com Deficiência (lei nº 13.146/2015). Como método de abordagem utilizou-se o método dedutivo e, no procedimento, o método bibliográfico.
