It has been closed since the 80s for restoration and reconstruction. This work presents the reform and demolition procedures and some problems found between the reconstructions involving the massive of concrete in the continental area as well as the final results of the reform. The massive of concrete in the continental area reconstruction project used expansive grout to create fissures and help in the demolition. Then, with a cleaned area, it was designed 29 foundation piles initially, but it was necessary the creation of one more during the project. Furthermore, the pile cap was made of 1.200,39 m3 concrete and the anchoring blocks had a 3.333 m3 volume. This report also has information about unexpected issues during the restoration and how the solutions were found to solve them.A Ponte Hercílio Luz teve sua inauguração em 1926 e passou, durante sua existência, por alguns problemas estruturais. Sua interdição ocorreu na década de 80 e desde lá vem passando por reformas e reconstruções. Entre estas reconstruções, este trabalho cita o maciço continental e seus procedimentos de demolição e reconstrução, trazendo ainda os problemas encontrados e resultados ao final da obra. O projeto de reconstrução do maciço continental contou com a utilização de argamassa expansiva para criar fissuração e ajudar na demolição. Após, com o terreno limpo, foi projetada inicialmente 29 estacas, sendo necessária a criação de mais uma no decorrer da obra. Além disso, o bloco de coroamento contou com 1.200,39 m3 de concreto e o bloco de ancoragem contou com mais um volume de 3.333 m3.
