Houve mudanças substanciais no último ano, entre elas a solicitação de licenciamento não automático baseado em preço de pauta e aumento do imposto de importação. Diante desse fato, a autora analisa temas peculiares e fundamentais para o desenvolvimento do trabalho, bem como apresenta uma conclusão a sua pesquisa. Esses temas constituem-se em comércio exterior e órgãos intervenientes, importação - considerando o processo como um todo -, tributos incidentes e modalidades encontradas no momento de realizar uma importação, caracterização do setor cerâmico mundial e brasileiro, bem como as medidas protecionistas e facilitadoras que incidem sobre as importações de revestimentos cerâmicos. Para a conclusão da sua pesquisa, a autora baseou-se em coleta de dados primários e secundários, ou seja, inicialmente a coleta de informações se deu por meio de pesquisas bibliográficas, dados estatísticos e fatos expostos através de notícias, e em um segundo momento, foram realizadas entrevistas com duas empresas da área que relatam fatos do cotidiano dos importadores de revestimentos cerâmicos. Após tal análise, é concluído que não existe congruência entre as medidas aplicadas pelo governo federal e pelo governo estadualThere is an inconsistency between the measures of the federal government, who apparently seek to protect the Brazilian ceramic tile industry, and state measures that facilitate the import of such materials through the ports of Santa Catarina. There were substantial changes in the last year, including a request for non-automatic licensing staff based on price and increase in import tax. Given this fact, the author analyzes the issues and fundamental to the development of work and presents a conclusion to this research. These themes are in foreign trade and intervenient agencies, import - considering the process as from the start until the end - taxes and terms found when performing an import, characterization of the ceramics sector worldwide and in Brazil, as well as protectionist measures and facilitation in imports of ceramic tiles. For the conclusion of this research, the author relied on collection of primary and secondary data, initially gathering information was through bibliographic searches, statistical data and facts exposed through news, and a second time interviews were conducted with two area companies that report facts lived by the importers of ceramic tiles.
