Entende-se aqui a espiritualidade como uma das dimensões da integralidade humana, devendo ser considerada nas práticas de saúde, especialmente, no que se refere a clínica psicológica. Jung, precursor da Psicologia Analítica, inicia sua jornada vinculado a Psicanálise Freudiana, mas discorda da centralidade da sexualidade na gênese do sofrimento psíquico. Ao romper com a psicanálise, Jung se debruçou sobre o estudo de outras culturas, a fim de buscar aspectos comuns destas diferentes culturas na constituição da psique humana. Identificou que a necessidade de transcender a realidade concreta, sustentada pela fé e religião, é um dos aspectos que atravessa a maioria das culturas. Neste mergulho a religiosidade, sinônimo de espiritualidade para este teórico, é uma das dimensões centrais da psique humana. A partir deste estudo teórico, concluímos que é cada vez mais emergente a necessidade de considerar a dimensão espiritual nas práticas clínicas.The present article is a literature review, with the general objective of investigating the relationship between spirituality and the practice of Carl Gustav Jung's Analytical Psychology. Spirituality is understood here as one of the dimensions of human integrality, and should be considered in health practices, especially in relation to clinical psychology. Jung, a precursor of Analytical Psychology, begins his journey linked to Freudian psychoanalysis, but disagrees with the centrality of sexuality in the genesis of psychological suffering. When he broke away from psychoanalysis, Jung delved into the study of other cultures, in order to seek common aspects of these different cultures in the constitution of the human psyche. He identified that the need to transcend concrete reality, sustained by faith and religion, is one of the aspects that crosses most cultures.
