Os resultados obtidos demonstraram que apenas alguns pacientes com SARS-CoV-2 em todo o mundo têm evidências documentadas de coinfecção, entretanto muitos relatórios afirmam que uma proporção significativa de pacientes com COVID-19 desenvolveu infecções secundárias. Dessa forma se torna relevante a importância de prevenções e controles hospitalares referentes a infecções por microrganismos oportunistas multirresistentes em pacientes acometidos por COVID-19.The present study is a literary review addressing the relationship between a COVID-19, infections and hospital coinfections, involving multiresistant opportunistic microorganisms, with the aim of understanding the reaction of the organism infected by COVID-19 when suffering a co-infection, analyzing the physiological behavior, possible complications and highlight the importance of hospital prevention and controls. The results obtained demonstrate that only a few patients with SARS-CoV-2 worldwide have documented evidence of co-infection, however many reports state that a significant proportion of patients with COVID-19 have developed secondary infections.
