It is featured as a descriptive survey, with bibliographical and documental procedure, by consulting airport administration webportals, regulating and governmental agencies. This work was based on a quantitative approach. Data analysis was made through charts and tables, according to the specific theoretical basis. The research led to the inference that there is still a lot to do in order to improve the infrastructure of the Southeastern Brazilian airports. Airports run by the private initiative invest more in this growth, ending up ahead of those run by the government. Through data collection, curiosity is risen to proceed with the studies and researches related to contributing segments in the ups and downs of their movements, as well as the reason why it happens.Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo geral descrever a infraestrutura dos aeroportos do Sudeste brasileiro e sua movimentação nos últimos cinco anos. Caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa descritiva com procedimento bibliográfico e documental, por meio de consulta a portais de administração dos aeroportos, órgãos reguladores e governamentais. A abordagem utilizada foi a quantitativa. A análise dos dados foi feita por meio de gráficos e tabelas, de acordo com a fundamentação teórica. Ao finalizar a pesquisa, conclui-se que ainda há muito o que fazer para melhorar a infraestrutura dos aeroportos do Sudeste. Aeroportos administrados pela inciativa privada acabam investindo mais neste crescimento, colocando-os à frente daqueles que são administrados pelo Estado.
