Monografia Acesso aberto Adequação da instrução de voo inicial à modernização dos métodos de navegação, procedimentos e estrutura do espaço aéreo no Brasil(2016) Muzzi, VitorThe aim of this study was to describe the process of adaptation of the initial flight instruction to the needs of the aviation market in general, in a context of rapid modernization of the navigation methods, procedures and structure of the airspace. Additionally, explaining the difficulties of adapting the education system to this context, in what concerns aircraft and other teaching platforms, instructional programs and bureaucratic barriers. This is characterized as a descriptive research, with documental procedure through documents, regulations and laws. The approach used was qualitative. The analysis of data was based on the procedure of data content analysis, and the data was collected by documentary and bibliographic review. Analyzing the results obtained in the research, one can conclude that the current flight instruction system does not support the adaptations necessary to update the current instruction model. It is necessary to change the structure of the system, seeking alternatives compatible with the characteristics of Brazilian educational institutions, such as MPL (Multiple Crew License), already regulated in Brazil. It was also possible to observe during the work process, that the approached theme lacks of literature, and a greater number of researches about the modernization of the flight instruction system is primordial to the adoption of measures to this end by the competent authorities.Monografia Acesso aberto Airmanship: habilidade nata ou desenvolvida?(2016) Tozzi, Rodrigo ChavesThis research focus on Airmanship, and aims to bring light to the question if it's an inborn skill to few choosen ones or if it can be learned, throught continuous study and development, I tried to define it and showed how it can be acquired. This is an explanatory research, with bibliographical and documentary procedures, made based on books, research from other academics, papers and articles from specialized paper magazines about aviation. Using a quantitative approach, with data been analised for its content and shown to the reader through texts and figures. After carefully analysis of a huge collection of books and papers about Airmanship, we can undoubtedly see that this is a developed skill and can only be acquired throught study and flight proficiency, as it includes a set of multidisciplinar skills, not only about aviation itself. Your use should be widely spread among pilots, because it has the advantage of raising the situacional awareness, improving the flight management and consequently, increasing the safety of the flight.Monografia Acesso aberto Análise dos aspectos relacionados ao treinamento de CRM em acidentes aéreos(2018) Scutti, Ewerton AdrianoThis research aimed to collect and collect data on major air accidents in Brazil, highlighting the importance that companies should give to CRM training for flight safety. In a descriptive, qualitative research, data were collected on air accidents in Brazil, highlighting large and small accidents, available in the Aircraft Accident File Catalog (ANAC, 2009). This explains the importance companies must give to CRM training. This research has a bibliographic and documentary character and, through scientific articles and monographs, reports, among others. Air accident data showed that the number of accidents caused by human factors has been decreasing, but they are still not satisfactory. It is characterized as an exploratory research with bibliographical and documentary procedure through the final reports of aeronautical accident investigation and prevention, specialized books on the subject, journalistic and scientific articles, official aeronautical regulations and publications. The approach used was qualitative. The analysis of the data was done by means of tabulation of the obtained data, analyzed according to the theoretical basis. The three main contributing factors to the accidents found in the region were adverse weather conditions, indiscipline and loss of situational awareness of the flight. It was possible to realize that these factors do not act in isolation, but are connected to each other facilitating the occurrence of accidents. It presents viable, because the oil exploration in Brazil is predominantly at sea, scenery that makes mandatory the use of high tech tools, in order to ensure the viability of the extraction by the adequacy of logistics costs. The preparation methodology was the search and investigation of specific literature, through books, theses linked to subjects, websites of aircraft manufacturers, government and companies related to the field of study. The author obtained as a result an operational and financial comparison between the tilt rotor aircraft and the main rotorcraft used in logistics. It is intended in this study to introduce the biofuel as an energy source, proposing knowledge about the challenges and technological opportunities, economical and sustainability, matching to the sustainable development to the aviation in brazil. This investigation comes to contribute and provide informations about biofuel studies, their challenges and opportunities, serving to the disclosure of this technology. The biofuel brings benefits to the environment, job creation, challenges and technological opportunities, economical, socials and ecological environments in the aviation, being of extreme importance in the academicals aspects to the increase of studies and reflexions. The research will be bibliographic and documental, finding to analyse aviations difficulties, stood on sources such as scientific articles, books, magazines, and on websites. It is quoted as one of the challenges the high production costs, may being faced as a biggest offer that guarantees a natural adoption of biokerosene, that by its turn, it will reduce step by step the carbon dioxide emissions. It discusses the evolution of fuel since the early days of aviation, the characteristics of aircraft engines powered by kerosene and what possible changes the new fuels could have on the operation of those engines. The approach is qualitative, with bibliographic and documentary procedures, characterizing it as exploratory. The data analysis was done by reading and interpretation of books, bibliographic articles and web sites of regulatory and research agencies, as well as by national and international airlines documents so that the proposed objectives could be achieved. The research is characterized as exploratory, with bibliographic and documentary procedure through books, articles and technical manuals. As for the nature of the research, it was based on the quantitative approach. The analysis of the data was done through graphs and tables, analyzed according to the theoretical basis. At the end of the research, it is concluded that the digital system allows a better use of the available power in the aircraft engines, through a precise dosage of the fuel. And that, in addition to calculating the exact amount of fuel to be introduced in the combustion chamber, manages other functions such as: presentation of data to the crew through the Vehicle and Engine Multifunction Display (VEMD), automatic starting system, limits control of the primary engine parameters, Engine Power Check (EPC), calculation of turbine cycles, gas turbine wear control etc. Thus, in the command of the Airbus H125 and H130 helicopters equipped with this kind of dosage, it is up to the pilot to maneuver them in the skies. However, the fuel control will always be electronic and performed automatically. The territorial and technological challenges and high demand of air operations reveal the need for change in the analog communication system between pilots and air traffic controllers to a new digital format, the Controller Pilot Data Link Communication (CPDLC). In this sense, there are details about the structure of Brazilian airspace and how its air traffic control is organized. The main features of radio communications and CPDLC are highlighted, emphasizing the advantages of using data link communication between pilots and air traffic controllers. It was characterized as an exploratory research with documentary procedures through documents, regulations and manuals. The approach used was qualitative and quantitative. Data analysis was performed using the summarization, evaluated according to the theoretical basis. When analyzing the results, it is concluded that the data link in communications between pilots and air traffic controllers is a highly beneficial technology to aviation. It reduces the problems of radio communications and expands the power of automation in operations, increasing the safety of the flights.Monografia Acesso aberto Estrutura da aviação aeromédica brasileira(2016) Pilau, LorenzoThe Aircrafts transportation is an effective way to provide fast transportation to the most appropriate location while maintaining the necessary and specific assistance to the patient. Although in Brazil we see the growth of the aeromedical service, it is still far from ideal, it is a new service since 1910 that the first rudimentary model of aeromedical transport was created through the airplane, thus allow dealing better with the emergency. The aerial UTIs are very important, allowing the movement of patients from regions with low medical sources or remote areas, to large reference centers. The transportation usually takes place, bed to bed, and the medical team of the flight is responsible for leaving the bed until the arrival at the other bed. Although precarious, the aeromedical service in Brazil has everything to grow and through the statistical data, a larger parameter from where is the area that needs more attention. It also aims to encourage and adopt some practices to prevent future accidents in the aeronautical environment. The present research is characterized as explanatory, with a bibliographic and documentary procedure and with a qualitative approach. The analysis of the data was done through graphs and reports, analyzed according to the theoretical basis. At the end of the research, it is concluded that the main factors that contribute to aeronautical accidents are: pilot judgment, management supervision and application of the commands, arriving at the conclusion that it is necessary both in training and when already working, that pilots seek to improve their knowledge of Operational Safety, having to make correct use of the Checklist and maintain good conduct in the cockpit putting into practice everything about the CRM. For some time, the kerosene came to be used in the industry bringing benefits as a cleaner burning fuel, but with the industry growth and consumption ever higher fossil fuel impacts on the environment are already recognized as highly harmful other issues such as the shortage of sources for fossil fuels and high oil prices have also been considered to justify the importance that has been given to research aimed at formulating biofuels for aviation. Thus, the study was overall objective describe research seeking to develop new types of aviation fuels and respond to the problem of aviation fuel which proposes to use in the future. The methodology to meet the objectives of the work and presented the research was exploratory procedure with bibliographic and documentary, qualitative. The main results identified the biofuels are used in the future, ie, a concern of the researchers is to develop and manufacture renewable fuels considering such aspects as cost, availability, environmental, and operational feasibility. Data analysis done through research sought to obtain data through charts, studies, tables, document reading, books, periodicals, websites and publications, analyzed according to the theoretical foundation. After the completed survey is concluded that the installation of ILS CAT III at the airport Afonso Pena reduce only a small percentage of cancellations of approaches, share this that focuses on a few months of the year, moreover, it was observed that the adequacy of airlines this system requires a high degree of investment to train the crew and homologate their aircraft, so it will be up to airlines to decide what is more important, the economic viability and are sure to offer the best possible service to its customers.Monografia Acesso aberto A importância da pilotagem elementar nos aviões modernos(2017) Grossi, Ronald MonteiroThis research is directly focused on the importance of maintaining proficient manual piloting in modern and increasingly automated aircraft. The main focus is on analyzing aircraft automation systems versus efficient manual handling in case of failures and of course the impact it has on civil aviation flight safety. This research had as general objective to acquire knowledge to emphasize the importance of the pilot of airline in maintaining his proficient manual skills of flight, in case of failure in the automation, there is a safe manual piloting until the landing of the aircraft. It is characterized as an exploratory research with bibliographic and documentary procedure through books, articles and reports from specialized magazines and news portals. The approach used was qualitative. The first topic discussed is about the automation of modern aircraft and the evolution of it. From the first planes that only sailed with the bus and a stopwatch to the present day, the plane practically lands, brakes and without the pilot's hand in the controls of the aircraft. As well as the size of aircraft, the embedded technology systems and the complexity of automation have also evolved. The job that once needed five people in the booth, now only needs two, and most of the functions assigned to automation. The second topic is concerned with situational awareness regarding automatism, and it was necessary to require more of the pilot the attentive and efficient management of the embedded and technological systems of the aircraft, besides obvious manual and elemental piloting. It is good to remember that automation is extremely advantageous, but it can induce loss of situational awareness, leading to performance errors, wrong actions and a "vice" to the loss of manual pilot skills. The third topic concerns the basic characteristics of elemental and aerodynamic piloting. The last topic is the study of an air accident that had a direct participation of the man-machine interaction in the final result of the accident. Therefore, it is concluded with the results obtained in the research, that the lack of knowledge of manual piloting techniques and the lack of observance of high situational awareness increase the chance of having a major air accident. Also, this study observed the importance of having a more adequate training as the basic techniques of manual control of the aircraft with a stop in the automation systemMonografia Acesso aberto A importância do plano de resposta à emergência na aviação executiva e sua relação com o operador aéreo(2016) Fogaça, Ricardo SampaioThis paper aims to understand the importance of an Emergency Response Plan for business aviation operators. It is characterized as a descriptive exploratory research with bibliographic and documentary procedure performed through books, articles, reports, regulations and laws, and qualitative approach. The data collected for this study were analyzed using content analysis technique, which is delimited on the theoretical basis presented from the perspective of the researcher interpretation on the subject. It was observed that in recent accidents of business planes and helicopters through affected residents reports, they did not receive immediate support and financial resources on the part of operators, leading to the conclusion that these accidents operators have not had a PRE. Although small operators of private aircraft do not count on resources and knowledge to the implementation of an ERP, the key is learning from other companies that have a plan, or have gone through an event of this size. One way to manage a crisis is to prevent it, and the best way to prevent it is to anticipate it, as well, through a PRE program, it is shown how the company is involved with safety.
