Monografia Acesso embargado Acidentes de trabalho no âmbito da secretaria de estado da saúde de SC - análise de dados(2017) Vieira, EdenirThe hospital units have one of their main characteristics in terms of work safety, of presenting a high risk index, to which workers are frequently exposed in the day to day of their work activities. Technological development of materials and equipment as well as modern forms of work organizations and sophisticated management techniques can become an inexhaustible source of health problems when administered without Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). This work consisted of an analysis of data obtained from publications of SES SC. An analysis was performed in the period between 2013 and 2014, regarding work accidents occurred and registered at the State Health Department of Santa Catarina. The results of the analysis indicated that the health units managed by SES do not adopt or do not strictly comply with an OSH management system, despite having in most cases a real concern with their workers. This work of data analysis allowed the diagnosis of the health and safety situation of the employees of SES SC, through the mapping of risks identified according to their nature, chemical, physical, ergonomic, accident and biological, to which workers are exposed in the day to day of their work activities identifying factors triggering diseases and accidents, their respective sources and the function of the servers most affected. The analysis of data related to the work accidents of the SES SC servers identified the need for a better integration between the categories involved and the top management in order to elaborate management proposals for the OSH area and thus reduce the quantity and severity of occupational accidents. For the terms investigated, several perceptions were manifested among the social actors that are members of the different categories that are probably related to the sociocultural and institutional aspects to which they are involved. An effective and effective health and safety management system contributes greatly to minimizing the risks to SES SC employees during or due to work activity and also to a better work environment in Public Health Institutions in the state of Santa Catarina.Monografia Acesso embargado Acidentes de trabalho no setor de distribuição de energia elétrica no estado de Santa Catarina(2019) Nascimento, Felipe Luiz doThis dissertation aims to present a vision of occupational accidents in the electrical power system of Santa Catarina in the period 2009-2017, through an observational, descriptive ecological study, with data search in Social Security (INSS) databases and National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL), whith a bibliographic research with the synthesis of the main aspects of health, safety and work process of the eletrical sector. The results obtained by studying the distribution of data by organization type, reason and situation, time evolution of interest rates and occupational mortality in the period 2009-2018 indicated a downward trend in the part of the study period, and a new growth trend in the last years. The inconsistency found between the numbers recorded by ANEEL and data from the INSS can be explainded by the enlargement of outsourcing workers in the Social Security statistics, which aggregates the data by CNAE code.Monografia Acesso embargado Acidentes de trabalho relacionados à captação, tratamento e distribuição de água no Brasil(2020) Souza, Lais Cristina Rozone deThe completion of this monograph has the general objective of analyzing information and numbers of occupational accidents related to the activities of water collection, treatment and distribution in Brazil, which occurred in the period from 2010 to 2017, identifying and clarifying factors associated with its occurrence and consequences. Workers in this sector are exposed to a series of risks inherent to water supply activities. Among the physical risks are non-ionizing radiation, noise, humidity and vibrations. Chemical risks include products used in water treatment processes (coagulation, flocculation and disinfection), sludge treatment, laboratory analysis and maintenance, with contact with oils, greases and solvents. Regarding ergonomic risks, physical effort in the use of heavy equipment and repetitive effort are highlighted. Exposure to the risks of accidents is related to the inappropriate use of machines, equipment and tools, as well as the lack of protection against them; inadequate lighting of the place; the possibility of fire and explosion; falls in unprotected places; the presence of venomous animals; the absence of signs; and electric shocks during machine maintenance. Through an ecological, descriptive observational study, with data search in Social Security work accident databases, it was possible to obtain the number of accident victims, the reason / situation, the consequences and the temporal evolution of the accident rates. occupational incidence and mortality in the 2010-2017 period in the sector. This research showed that, over the years, the number of workers in the sector has increased, and the number of accidents has decreased. However, despite this, there is a need for measures to prevent and control the effects of this activity.Monografia Acesso aberto Análise temporal de acidentes de trabalho relacionados à atividade de produção florestal no Brasil(2018) Silva, Renata AlziraThis work refers to a research on work accidents in Brazil and large regions, focusing on accidents related to the activity of Forest Production - Planted Forest. The main objective of the study was to study the evolution of work accidents in Brazil related to this activity, between the years of 2009 to 2015 and, and indirectly to evaluate the application of the Norms Regulating pertinent to the prevention of accidents in rural activities - NR 31. The methodology used was an observational, descriptive, ecological research. The sources of information were the databases on work accidents of the Social Security: the Statistical Yearbooks of Social Security (SYSS / year) and the Statistical Yearbooks of Work Accidents (SYWA / year). Work accidents in all activities in Brazil had a reduction of approximately 16.5% in the period studied, while work accidents related to the forest production - planted forest had a reduction of approximately 52.98%. Accidents involving males fell by approximately 22%. On the other hand, accidents involving females presented a reduction of only 1.68%. The greatest number of accidents occurred in the age group of 25 to 29 years, followed by 30 to 34 years. The South Region was the region that obtained the highest fall in the incidence rate of accidents, reaching a variation of -62.90%. The Region with the lowest fall in the incidence rate was the Northeast Region, with a variation of -33.63%. All regions of Brazil had a reduction in the incidence of accidents in forestry production activities in relation to total work accidents, especially in the North, which presented a reduction of approximately 68%. The Central-West Region had the lowest reduction of around 17%. In Brazil, there was a 44.62% fall in the accidentality of forest production activity in Brazil in relation to the accidentality of all other sectors.Monografia Acesso aberto Identificação e avaliação de riscos ocupacionais: estudo de caso em uma indústria madeireira de pequeno porte(2018) Dutra, CamilaThe timber industrial activity in the city of Santa Rosa de Lima is getting attention for being one of the greatest sources of work in the city. However, there is a great potential for work related accidents. This study’s goal is to identify and assess the risks associated to the Occupational Safety and Health – OSH, existing during the activity of cutting and manufacturing of timber in a small industry in the city. In order to reach the proposed goals, a flowchart analysis of the process was performed, in the flowchart were described the main risks that the work presented to the workers involved. Afterwards, a risk assessment and identified hazards matrix was elaborated, inputting values and lastly proposing enhancements to the process from the results obtained in this research.
