Monografia Acesso aberto Acupuntura no tratamento de transtornos de déficit de atenção/hiperatividade(2011) Beckner, Daniel UdenirThis research proposed an analysis of the relationship between Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and the problems of the form of treatment that is being addressed so far by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) through its best known technique, acupuncture. This is through literature review of the fundamentals of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder as well as research the existence of scientific papers related to this disorder with Traditional Chinese Medicine approach by searching the databases Bireme, Medline, Pubmed, Science Direct and Scielo in Portuguese and English. Of scientific papers of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder found, only two were classified using the criteria for inclusion. A randomized controlled trial of electroacupuncture combined with behavior therapy in children of preschool age and one a systematic review of acupuncture as a treatment for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children and adolescents. There is evidence for the effectiveness of acupuncture as a treatment for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. However, due to the reduced number of available studies, these findings can not be guaranteed.Monografia Acesso aberto Constipação intestinal com enfoque na medicina tradicional chinesa(2011) Beckner, Magda Fernandes PinheiroConstipation is a problem with high prevalence in several countries worldwide, and has worsened mainly due to the lifestyle of today's hectic and stressful.
