Monografia Acesso embargado Análise de viabilidade no mercado brasileiro do light steel framing em relação à alvenaria convencional para uma residência de padrão popular(2017) Zacchi, Eduardo Martins; Lisboa, Edson de FreitasWith the objective of showing that Brazil can be adept at new technologies in the construction industry, breaking the paradigm of practically using only conventional masonry as a constructive method, presenting in this work a different and innovative procedure, already widespread in countries of first world such as the United States, Canada and China. The Light Steel Framing system comes with a completely different approach than usual, but with the same purpose, bringing innovation, generating less waste, speeding up the works. The Light Steel Framing system consists of a structure made up of steel profiles, cold galvanized, gypsum boards, cementitious boards and OSB (Oriented Strand Board), among others. Brazil has great potential in this method because the country is one of the great steel producers in the world, the raw material of this constructive method, characterized as industrialized and provide several benefits compared to conventionally used systems, the same is still a system little used in Brazil. With the presentation of a single family dwelling, we will show in data the cost and time of the usual method with the Steel Framing method and thus draw conclusions based on the information about the advantage or not of the use of Steel Framing instead of the conventional method, conventional masonry.Monografia Acesso fechado Estudo de caso: comparativo entre a utilização de vigoras pré-moldadas convencionais e vigoras pré-fabricadas protendidas para um edifício multifamiliar de três pavimentos(2019) Souza, Luiz Guilherme Zago de; Souza, Carlos Eduardo Zago deAs the construction labor market gets more and more saturated, different technique and knowledge becomes a differential for who wants to stand out. With technology and research growing exponentially, new methodologies have been developed, and is up to the engineer to know how to best seize opportunities and adapt to adversity. One of the constructive methods that have been currently used is prestressing, a process in which steel is previously stretched to increase its flexural strength. Larger spans may provide a budget economy in the form of reducing the use of concrete, steel, forms and props in the use of prestressed beams. The following work aboard a case study and a technical-financial comparison between two different projects, one utilizing conventional precast joints, while the other utilizes prestressed beams.Monografia Acesso aberto Patologia em pontes - estudo de caso em patologias da ponte Pedro Ivo Campos e orientação de reforma(2017) da Silva, Jean Carlos; dos Santos, BrunoThis work is referenced by a construction analytical study, dimensioning and standardization of artworks such as the bridges. We have developed all steps for a proper care, from it construction to it proper maintenance care. As a practical way, we choose the Pedro Ivo Campos Bridge, located in Florianópolis, capital of the Santa Catarina State - Brazil. The studies carried out on this bridge were based on a visual inspection made during the whole second half of 2017. In this inspection, the pathologies present and the state of conservation were cataloged. In this way, a correct theoretical basis of the pathological reforms in reinforced concrete structures and metallic structures subject was researched. As a conclusion, we present solutions regarding the correction of each prophylaxis under parameters analyzed and researched by the authors.
