Resumo
A doença arterial coronariana (DAC) é a obstrução coronária acarretada pela aterosclerose subclínica, prejudicando a irrigação miocárdica. Alguns exames de imagem são utilizados no diagnóstico de DAC, visualizando a extensão da lesão, e a utilização de marcadores bioquímicos podem auxiliar no acompanhamento. O uso diferencial da proteína-c reativa e albumina demonstra associação com a gravidade e extensão da DAC, com aumento constatado em pacientes de alto risco.
Coronary artery disease (CAD) is coronary obstruction caused by subclinical atherosclerosis, impairing myocardial irrigation. Some imaging tests are used in the diagnosis of CAD, visualizing the extent of the lesion, and the use of biochemical markers can help in the follow-up. The differential use of c-reactive protein and albumin demonstrates an association with the severity and extent of CAD, with an increase observed in high-risk patients.
