dc.description.abstract	Introduction: Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a chronic inflammatory disease of autoimmune origin that affects the spine, can progress to stiffness and progressive functional limitation of the axial skeleton. Among the treatments for AS are Global Postural Reeducation (RPG®) and Isostretching® methods. RPG® is characterized by involving a series of gentle active movements and postures aimed at realigning the joints. Isostretching® is a method that is not only linked to the improvement of muscle strength, but also with the possibility of providing greater activation and neuromuscular control. Objective: To evaluate the effects of RPG® and Isostretching® methods, applied alone, in patients with AS. Methods: Experimental, explanatory, quantitative study. Consisting of 8 participants, assessment was performed using a history sheet, Visual Analogical Pain Scale (VAS), SF-36 Quality of Life Questionnaire, Occipito-Wall Distance Test, Schober Test, Manovacuometer and Cirtometry. Results: At the end of the collection, the RPG group had 4 participants and the ISO group only 2. The results were not statistically significant. However in the SF-36 life questionnaire, there was improvement in the aspects of pain, general health, vitality, social aspects and mental health in the RPG group, and in the ISO group only the vitality. Conclusion: It was concluded that the quality of life in relation to the participants' health, the RPG group obtained more positive results than the ISO group.	en
dc.description.abstract	Introdução: A espondilite anquilosante (EA) é uma doença inflamatória crônica de origem autoimune que afeta a coluna vertebral, pode evoluir para rigidez e limitação funcional progressiva do esqueleto axial. Dentre os tratamentos para a EA existem os métodos Reeducação Postural Global (RPG®) e Isostretching®. RPG® é caracterizado por envolver uma série de movimentos suaves ativos e posturas voltadas para o realinhamento das articulações. Isostretching® é um método que não está ligado apenas ao aprimoramento da força muscular, mas também com a possibilidade de propiciar maior ativação e controle neuromuscular. Objetivo: Avaliar os efeitos dos métodos RPG® e Isostretching®, aplicados de forma isolada, em pacientes com EA. Métodos: Estudo experimental, explicativa, quantitativa. Composto por 8 participantes, avaliação foi realizada através de uma ficha de anamnese, Escala Visual Analógica de Dor (EVA), Questionário de Qualidade de Vida SF-36, Teste de distância Occipito-parede, Teste de Schober, manovacuômetro e cirtometria. Resultados: No final da coleta o grupo RPG ficou com os quatro participantes e o grupo ISO com apenas dois. Os resultados não foram estatisticamente significativos. Entretanto no questionário de vida SF-36, houve melhora nos aspectos da dor, estado geral de saúde, vitalidade, aspectos sociais e saúde mental no grupo RPG, e já no grupo ISO foi somente a vitalidade. Conclusão: Conclui-se que a qualidade de vida em relação a saúde dos participantes, o grupo RPG obteve mais resultados positivos do que o grupo ISO.	pt_BR
