dc.description.abstractRESUMO INTRODUÇÃO: A mobilização precoce além de prevenir complicações, está associada a uma recuperação mais rápida e a uma redução no tempo de ventilação mecânica, destacando sua importância terapêutica. OBJETIVO: Reunir e analisar os efeitos da mobilização precoce em pacientes em uso de ventilação mecânica internados na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) adulto. MÉTODOS: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa cuja busca foi realizada nas bases de dados como PEDro, PubMed e SciELO, utilizando descritores específicos. Os critérios de inclusão abarcaram textos completos gratuitos, ensaios clínicos e artigos publicados nos últimos 10 anos, enquanto os critérios de exclusão contemplaram estudos que não respondiam à pergunta de pesquisa. RESULTADOS: A busca resultou em 25 artigos, dos quais 05 foram incluídos. Os resultados demonstraram que a mobilização precoce apresenta benefícios significativos, incluindo melhoria na mobilidade dos pacientes em cuidados intensivos, melhor recuperação funcional a curto e longo prazo, diminuição de complicações e redução da duração da ventilação mecânica. Destaca-se que a intervenção de reabilitação aprimorada foi associada a benefícios específicos em termos de mobilização precoce, níveis de atividade física e saúde mental dos pacientes em comparação com o cuidado padrão na UTI. A comparação entre os grupos ressaltou a importância da implementação de estratégias específicas para melhorar os desfechos dos pacientes críticos em ventilação mecânica na UTI. CONCLUSÃO: Em suma, os estudos revisados evidenciam a eficácia da mobilização precoce na melhoria dos resultados e do cuidado prestado aos pacientes em UTIs sob ventilação mecânica, ressaltando a necessidade de ampliar a implementação dessa prática para promover melhores desfechos clínicos e funcionais.pt
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT INTRODUCTION: Early mobilization, in addition to preventing complications, is associated with faster recovery and a reduction in mechanical ventilation time, highlighting its therapeutic importance. OBJECTIVE: To gather and analyze the effects of early mobilization in patients using mechanical ventilation admitted to the adult Intensive Care Unit. METHODS: This is an integrative review whose search was carried out in databases such as PEDro, PubMed and SciELO, using specific descriptors. The inclusion criteria covered free full texts, clinical trials and articles published in the last 10 years, while the exclusion criteria included studies that did not answer the research question. RESULTS: The search resulted in 25 articles, of which 5 were included. The results demonstrated that early mobilization has significant benefits, including improved mobility of patients in intensive care, better functional recovery in the short and long term, reduced complications and reduced duration of mechanical ventilation. It is noteworthy that the enhanced rehabilitation intervention was associated with specific benefits in terms of early mobilization, physical activity levels and mental health of patients compared to standard ICU care. The comparison between the groups highlighted the importance of implementing specific strategies to improve the outcomes of critically ill patients on mechanical ventilation in the ICU. CONCLUSION: In short, the studies reviewed demonstrate the effectiveness of early mobilization in improving results and care provided to patients in ICUs under mechanical ventilation, highlighting the need to expand the implementation of this practice to promote better clinical and functional outcomes.en
