dc.description.abstract | Abstract: From the episode White Bear of the series Black Mirror this article aims to analyze the consumption of spectacular and tragic images in the digital age from the perspective of the Imaginary. Let us relate the concepts of the Society of the Spectacle (Debord) and with this seduction to open a way for the understanding of the imaginary (Durand), to search for the recurrence of myths in postmodernity (Maffesoli). We have identified relationships between the behavior of ancient Roman man, who watched gladiators, with the modern global man, who gives the UFC combats an unprecedented success, indicating a possible return of the Dionysian myth. The “mitanálise” was used as methodology, to find the “mitemas” in the episode. | en |
| pt_BR |
