dc.description.abstract	Aging is a natural process in which loss of elasticity and luminosity of the skin occurs, resulting in wrinkles, flaccidity and hyperpigmentation. The skin being the first organ to communicate with the external environment, is more prone to damage, and although it counts on the protection functions, its appearance with the passage of time changes, becoming old. The objective of this study is to mention the functions of the treatment with the use of acetyl hexapeptide in line with the treatment of wrinkles. Skin aging is due to intrinsic and extrinsic factors. For the preparation of this literature review, a bibliographic research was carried out. The literature review was carried out through the use of indexed scientific books and articles, available in databases such as Scielo, Google Schoolar, Pubmed and Science Direct, through the descriptors: skin aging, treatment for skin aging, acetyl hexapeptide-3, properties of the skin, anti-wrinkle cosmetics, in Portuguese and English. Intrinsic factors of a genetic nature manifest themselves over time when the skin begins to lose its ability to regenerate, resulting in flaccid skin with wrinkles and lines of expression, as well as extrinsic factors caused by sun exposure , smoking, among others. The results were obtained through bibliographical research. Interest in the use of active acetyl hexapeptide-3 in the treatment of wrinkles and tissue flaccidity arose to maintain youthful vitality and appearance for longer. Thus, the present article contemplates presenting its benefits in the treatment of facial wrinkles.	en
dc.description.abstract	O envelhecimento é um processo natural em que ocorre a perda da elasticidade e luminosidade da pele, surgindo as rugas, a flacidez e a hiperpigmentação. A pele por ser o primeiro órgão a se comunicar com o meio externo, está mais propensa a sofrer danos, e embora conte com as funções de proteção, a sua aparência com o decorrer do tempo vai mudando, tornando-se envelhecida. Como objetivo esse estudo visa mencionar as funções do tratamento com o uso do acetil hexapeptídeo alinhado ao tratamento de rugas. O envelhecimento cutâneo é decorrente de fatores intrínsecos e extrínsecos. Para a elaboração desta revisão de literatura, realizou-se pesquisa bibliográfica. O levantamento bibliográfico foi realizado através da utilização de livros e artigos científicos indexados, disponíveis nas bases de dados como Scielo, Google Schoolar, Pubmed e Science Direct, através dos descritores: envelhecimento cutâneo, tratamento para o envelhecimento cutâneo, acetil hexapeptídeo-3, propriedades da pele, cosméticos antirrugas, em português e inglês. Os fatores intrínsecos, de natureza genética, se manifestam com o passar do tempo, quando a pele começa a perder sua capacidade de regeneração, resultando em uma pele flácida, com rugas e linhas de expressão, como também de fatores extrínsecos, causados pela exposição solar, tabagismo, entre outros. Os resultados se deram através de pesquisas bibliográficas. O interesse pela utilização do ativo acetil hexapeptídeo-3 no tratamento das rugas e flacidez tissular surgiu para manter a vitalidade e aparência joviais por mais tempo. Desta forma, o presente artigo contempla apresentar seus benefícios no tratamento de rugas faciais.	pt_BR
