informar, entreter e conectar a população.
O estudo ressalta a

The relevance of radio as a means of communication was discussed, from its first transmission to the present day, despite the challenges imposed by digital technology and the internet. The research highlighted the influence of radio in shaping national identity, the dissemination of culture, political influence, and impacts on everyday life. As a study methodology, a Simple Qualitative Analysis of two reports was used: "Rádio Completa 100 anos no Brasil" from TV Bandeirantes, and "Centenário do Rádio no Brasil" from TV Gazeta, both published on September 7, 2022, the date of the 100th anniversary of Radio in Brazil, in addition to academic documentation on the subject using bibliographic research and content analysis. The methodology included the search for physical and online materials. The adopted approach was based on the Agenda Setting Theory as a support to the methodology. Throughout its 100 years of existence in Brazil, since 1922, radio has proven to be a relevant medium capable of informing, entertaining, and connecting the population. Even with technological advances and the emergence of new media, regional radios play an important role in promoting local culture. The study emphasizes the contribution of radio to the promotion of citizenship and the strengthening of democracy, providing information and entertainment even in the most remote locations. In summary, this work emphasizes the influence of radio throughout its 100-year history in Brazil, addressing its social, cultural, political, and everyday relevance. Our perception, at the end of the study, is that radio continues to play a significant role in people's lives, remaining a valuable means of communication capable of connecting and impacting Brazilian society.
