Estigmas e crenças impostas às mulheres x construção de identidade: uma análise dos possíveis impactos psicossociais

Resumo
Este artigo foi produzido por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica e propõe compreender como os estigmas e crenças podem afetar a construção da identidade da mulher e quais os impactos psicossociais envolvidos. O artigo foi embasado em Vanali et al. (2023) que elucida importantes questões acerca da narrativa histórica da mulher ocidental na sociedade, trazendo principalmente pensamentos da autora Saffioti (2013), que é uma grande referência do feminismo. Outro importante autor utilizado para embasamento, foi Ciampa (1989) que traz a ideia de construção de identidade como um processo contínuo na qual o indivíduo perpassa ao longo da sua vida, considerando todos os fatores biopsicossocial para a formação dessa noção de identidade. Através da pesquisa bibliográfica foi possível verificar como se estabeleceu a desigualdade de gênero na sociedade, sendo que este estabelecimento foi concebido mediante a uma construção social e cultural da imposição da crença da inferioridade feminina. O sistema patriarcal que coloca o homem sempre a frente da mulher, ainda tem suas ideologias reverberando nas relações sociais na sociedade atual, o que contribui para que as mulheres continuem sofrendo diferentes formas de violência e repressão. Neste sentido, a pesquisa tem como objetivo geral analisar como os estigmas e crenças podem ser negativos e afetar a subjetivação da mulher ocidental, ou seja, o modo de ser mulher. Entende-se que a sociedade é comandada pelo patriarcado e pelo capitalismo, forças essas que vêm mantendo certas imposições à mulher, gerando a desigualdade de gênero, a opressão, e o enquadramento feminino em padrões desconfortáveis, que poderão produzir efeitos nocivos para a saúde mental. Portanto, é de fundamental relevância entender a história da mulher, as situações de opressão e subjugação a qual foi imposta, percebendo assim as consequências desses fatores sobre a sua vida e no processo de construção de sua identidade.
This article was produced through a literature review and aims to understand how stigmas and beliefs can affect the construction of a woman's identity and the psychosocial impacts involved. The article is based on Vanali et al. (2023), which elucidates important issues about the historical narrative of Western women in society, primarily bringing thoughts from the author Saffioti (2013), a major reference in feminism. Another important author used for the foundation was Ciampa (1989), who brings the idea of identity construction as a continuous process that the individual goes through throughout their life, considering all the biopsychosocial factors for the formation of this notion of identity. Through the literature review, it was possible to verify how gender inequality was established in society, as this establishment was conceived through a social and cultural construction of the imposition of the belief in female inferiority. The patriarchal system that places men always ahead of women still has its ideologies reverberating in social relations in today's society, contributing to women continuing to suffer different forms of violence and repression. In this sense, the general objective of the research is to analyze how stigmas and beliefs can be negative and affect the subjectivation of Western women, that is, their way of being women. It is understood that society is governed by patriarchy and capitalism, forces that have maintained certain impositions on women, generating gender inequality, oppression, and the framing of women into uncomfortable standards, which can produce harmful effects on mental health. Therefore, it is fundamentally important to understand the history of women, the situations of oppression and subjugation to which they have been subjected, thus perceiving the consequences of these factors on their lives and in the process of constructing their identity.
